Ichiko Aoba gives us another peek into her fantastical mind with the album '0'. As usual, all her lyrics are based off of her dreams (both awake and asleep) giving them a special whimsical and mystical edge most songwriters don't seem to have these days.

Ichiko Aoba is one of my favorite singer songwriters of all time. She's painfully unique in her musicality and composition skills as an artist and musician. She manages to produce quality dream-pop tunes with (usually) just an acoustic guitar and she expertly pairs them with lyrics born from the depths of her own consciousness as an artist and human being.

Why'd You Start This Blog?
I was tired of watching the never ending stream of Kpop fans who used the same excuse which was basically; all Jpop has to offer is AKB48 material; why should I bother looking deeper? There's nothing else to see! So this blog is basically me trying to shove their words down their throats by exposing talented artists/bands to international fans of Kpop and Jpop alike.

I write only about music that I own. How am I supposed to write about something I haven't listened to in depth? If I get something new; even if it was released in 2009, if I find it interesting I want to share it and that's how it comes onto my blog.
